Applicators take unfinished aluminium and apply the powder coating finish to the material usually prior to manufacturing by others into finished product. Aluminium is first pre-treated in order to create an impermeable barrier to corrosion and to create a 'key' for the powder coat finish to adhere to the aluminium.
